Kelleher receives €173,000 pension on top of MEP salary

Former Fianna Fáil TD Billy Kelleher has received €173,000 in pension payments so far this year despite also receiving a European Parliament salary of €105,000, new records show.

The 51-year-old, who left the Dáil last May after winning a seat in Brussels, received a €151,918 pension lump sum from the Oireachtas. He has also received €21,170 in ongoing pension payments so far this year following his 22-year Dáil career. This pension figure is...
