Departure of ‘Boxer’ is a knock-out blow for Independent Alliance

Who knew that the Independent Alliance was a badge of convenience to be discarded for the general election? That appears to be the case for Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran.

The group was founded in 2015 by Shane Ross and Michael Fitzmaurice, although the latter departed shortly after the 2016 election. Then Moran was at the centre of a row in which the Independence Alliance lost another TD.
