Data last week from Ipsos MRBI may suggest only 28 per cent of people in Ireland have a Twitter account, but when it comes to Irish journalists the answer would be much closer to 100 per cent. For journalists, Twitter has become a key channel for the sharing of news, tracking areas of interest, and self-promotion.
