One minute’s worth of controversial remarks rightly didn’t deter 368,000 viewers from watching a useful report on transgender issues

Writing that, of course, will lead to the automatic assumption in some quarters that I am a raving, ranting, riled-up transphobe. Expressing anything, whatsoever, critical about transgender issues provokes the response of attack.

RTÉ attempted to do the opposite and broadcast a rational discussion which sought to address attitudes and perceptions about the trans community.
