Going to Spain for your holidays? You’ll be one of 230,000 people flying from Ireland to Spain this month (assuming similar numbers to last year).

A fifth of all trips abroad by Irish residents last year were to Spain - 1.7 million journeys. We spent €1.5 billion in the process - more than we spent on trips to France, Germany, Italy and Portugal combined (according to the CSO).
