Some incompatible objectives are holding us back

Even with the supposedly perfect housing solution, as seen in Vienna, we’d still have 6,500 homeless people in Dublin

I received a lot of feedback about the ‘Vienna model’ of housing I wrote on some weeks ago. People were quick to say that there were other considerations to think about and not just the cost factor.

That’s true, but when we are talking about things like affordable housing, then I’m sorry, but cost has to be central to the entire conversation.
