Poll shows surge in support for FG/Labour

Support for both Fine Gael and Labour has increased sharply in the past month, while Sinn Féin has fallen to its lowest level since 2013.

The latest Sunday Business Post/Red C monthly tracking poll has seen a four-point decline in support for Sinn Féin in the wake of the revelations about sex abuse, allegations of kangaroo courts and cover-ups by republicans.

The government parties both see their ratings improve by three points each. It is the first time Labour support has been in double figures since the first half of last year.
