I quite like getting my nails done. It’s nice to get my hair done. And hey, the gym can be painful, but it gets results. The problem is this: grooming is time-consuming. It’s confidence-boosting, sure, but also an exercise in time-wasting, which is fine if you’re a regular person with hours to spare, but problematic if you’re a politician charged with running the country, or with trying to win the votes to do so....
