Media should identify gardaí as sources

A report by Tom Lyons in The Sunday Business Post last weekend stated that the former Garda commissioner Martin Callinan has told the Charleton Tribunal that he passed on serious allegations against whistleblower Maurice McCabe to the then minister for justice Alan Shatter, and to nobody else.
