Denis O’Brien: Newstalk dispute will loom large at the next Independent News & Media agm

It is now under ten weeks to Independent News & Media’s annual shareholders’ meeting. To the many, many items on the agenda the company can now add the failure to seal the takeover of the regional newspaper chain Celtic Media, which was announced in the INM-owned Irish Independent last Saturday and not via a statement to the stock exchange, as is customary for listed companies.
