RTÉ deserves maximum praise for its investigative documentary last week on slum landlords. The documentary – Nightmare to Let – highlighted in forensic detail the dangerously overcrowded accommodation in the private rental sector and the litany of fire-safety breaches in a variety of premises across the country.
