Having taken an unsuccessful High Court challenge in 1983 to the proposed Eighth Amendment to the Constitution - on the grounds that in speaking of the equal right to life of mother and unborn, it did not give preference to the right to life of the mother in circumstances where these rights might conflict - may I suggest that the current proposals for the repeal of the Eighth to be followed by legislation permitting abortion...
