Is that glass ceiling in the advertising world a figment of our imaginations? No, no it is not.

Look at the numbers – the chief executives of the world’s top six advertising companies are men. In 2014, only 11.5 per cent of creative directors in the global advertising industry were female, despite the fact that women make up 46.4 per cent of its overall workforce.
