After 89 years in publication, the Connacht Sentinel published its final issue last week. The newspaper’s regular news and sports coverage, as well as columns such as Bradley Bytes, Peadar O’Dowd’s Galway Heritage, and the About Town column, will move to the Connacht Sentinel’s sister newspaper, the Galway City Tribune, which will be expanded to incorporate the extra articles.
