Ice cream in February is a big warning to us all

Last week, RTE News ran a sentimentally cute feature about an ice-cream stand. The “fabulous weather” had helped the ‘99’ business to boom. The piece, backed with old-timey seaside music, celebrated the warm weather.

Last week was February.

This warm weather was unprecedented. The hot winter weather was presented as a fun day out but, unfortunately, the truth is that it is climate chaos at work.
