We saw first-hand how vulnerable we can be to a global downturn and we are now focused on growing our domestic economy and creating the right conditions for prosperity and job creation through progressive taxation, appropriate regulation and targeted investment.

A major focus of the government’s efforts has been job creation. This has contributed significantly to employment increasing consistently over the past two years. I expect this trend to continue.
