Ger Colleran, former editor and now columnist with the Irish Star, advocated a No vote in the RTÉ Prime Time debate during the week on the referendum to reduce the age of presidential candidates to 21. His arguments were hard to take.

Ger misses the point about the Age of Presidential Candidates Referendum, or rather, the “some sort of equality for young people” as he blithely referred to the proposed constitutional amendment.
