Advertisers will take time to size up Ray D’Arcy move

31st December, 2014

Ray D’Arcy, whose move from Today FM to RTE Radio 1 made headlines last week, will transfer to 2fm within a year, according to RTE insiders. Ryan Tubridy, now at 2fm, will then move back to Radio 1, sources added.

Tim Griffiths, managing director at media agency OMD Ireland, said he would not be surprised if the radio presenters ended up swapping stations. He added that Tubridy’s “natural home” is Radio 1.
