Retired Ireland and Ulster rugby player David Fitzpatrick told the court that he had never witnessed Paddy Jackson being violent.

Paddy Jackson had attended his stag party and wedding. Fitzpatrick described him as a “sociable guy” who “enjoyed the craic”.
