McCann: Dalata boss stays positive over hotel group’s immediate future
The hotel chief is adamant that there will be business opportunities after the pandemic has passed
When Pat McCann announced Dalata’s full-year results at the end of February he could hardly have foreseen just how different his hotel business would look in a matter of weeks.
The impact of the coronavirus at that point had been negligible; a few cancelled events and reservations but it hardly registered.
“I’ll be watching this one carefully,” McCann told the Business Post at the time.
