Varadkar reveals tax breaks for employers to install showers and fitness equipment

His new commitment came at the launch of the latest update of the government’s Healthy Ireland plan to reduce obesity levels

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said that employers will be given tax breaks this year to install office showers and fitness equipment for their workers.

His new commitment came at the launch of the latest update of the government’s Healthy Ireland plan to reduce obesity levels.

Varadkar said people needed to be able to build regular exercise into their daily routines.
