The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) has refused to disclose how it plans to carry out its review of CervicalCheck.

The college has been asked to examine the screening histories of “approximately 1,850 women who developed cervical cancer and who were screened by the National Cervical Screening Programme before their diagnosis”, according to the Department of Health.
