More travel bans expected as coronavirus fears grow

The US is barring entry to any foreign national who has visited China in the past fortnight, with more countries likely to follow suit

More countries are expected to impose travel restrictions in response to the global spread of the coronavirus, after the Trump administration announced it would bar entry to the US by any foreign national who had visited China over the past two weeks.

The restrictions, a response to the coronavirus that emerged in China at the start of the year, are due to be put in place tonight.
