Ireland no longer ‘winning’ battle against Covid-19

The founder of the expert group EndCoronavirus says New Zealand’s zero tolerance model is the only option against the virus

Ireland is no longer considered a country that is ‘winning’ against the coronavirus, according to an international coalition of experts seeking to help eliminate Covid-19 globally.

EndCoronavirus, a multidisciplinary group established by scientists from Harvard, UCLA, MIT and other leading institutions, recently ranked Ireland among 50 countries “winning” in the fight to reduce their Covid-19 cases.
