HSE’s latest private hospitals Covid deal estimated to cost €47 million a month
Nphet confirmed that the R number was now estimated as between 0.65 and 0.85, while the the 14-day incidence of cases per 100,000 was at 253, down from 300 the previous week

The HSE has estimated the cost of the new private hospitals deal at €47 million a month, in documents seen by the Business Post.

It comes as the HSE considers this week whether to end surge capacity arrangements with private hospitals amid falling Covid-19 hospitalisations.
