HSE disputes claim Harris not invited to HPV vaccine event

The HSE has undermined claims that Minister Simon Harris was excluded from the launch of a high-profile HPV vaccine awareness campaign.

A HSE spokesman said the minister had been invited “a week before the launch” and “before the director-general of the HSE had even been invited.”

Last week, it was reported that the minister had asked HSE director-general Tony O’Brien to be invited to attend more public relations gigs.
