Health service report proposes free GP and hospital care for all

The plan calls for investment of €2.8 billion over a 10-year period

It says that shifting care out of hospitals and into the primary and community setting would help to address the challenge of access to our hospital system but other measures would also be needed including waiting time guarantees for hospital care, expanded hospital capacity and the phased elimination of private care in public hospitals.
