Harris orders probe into Big Pharma payments to medics
Health MInister "concerned" by revelations over millions of euro paid to doctors and hospitals
Minister for Health Simon Harris has sought a review of payments by the pharmaceutical industry to doctors and public hospitals following this newspaper’s investigation into the matter.
Harris said he was “concerned” by the revelations of payments worth millions of euro to doctors and hospitals.
He said he had instructed the Department of Health to examine the issues raised and report back within a month.
