Harris plans access programme after review by medicines watchdog

Health Minister Simon Harris has announced plans for a compassionate access programme to allow some patients to use cannabis-based treatments.

The move follows the publication of a review carried out by the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA), the state body which advises on the use of medicines.
