A public hospital consultant at St Vincent’s Hospital has initiated legal proceedings over the alleged failure to honour his private practice rights at the Dublin hospital group.

The outcome of this case is likely to have a significant impact on the feud between St Vincent’s Hospital Group (SVHG) and the HSE.
