Stroke ‘cure’ only available in certain Irish hospitals

An unpublished Health Service Executive (HSE) audit has uncovered huge variations in the provision of a potentially life-saving cure to stroke patients in Irish hospitals, with patients in some areas significantly less likely to receive the treatment.
