State plan to provide free dental care for all children

Children under the age of six will be the first to benefit from the new plan from next year

The government is to announce plans to roll out free universal dental care to all children in the country, starting with children under the age of six from next year. The ambitious plan will eventually see children up to the age of 16 entitled to free dental exams, fillings, emergency dental work, extractions, orthodontics and oral surgery.
