Shortage of international school options  for  children of foreign executives to be examined

The board of the International School of Dublin has commissioned accountancy firm Grant Thornton to write a report on the lack of educational options for the children of foreign executives and diplomats in Ireland.

The ISD is the only dedicated school offering the International Baccalaureate (iBAC) in Ireland, and it only serves primary-level pupils. Two second-level schools in the Dublin region offer some elements of the IB programme.
