Pharmacists and dentists plan to seek reversal of pay cuts

Pharmacists and dentists are seeking “immediate discussions” on a reversal of pay cuts levied against their members by the state in recent years.

The organisations were commenting after it emerged that the Department of Health had agreed to start talks on unwinding the cuts imposed to the fees paid to GPs under emergency legislation that was introduced in 2009.
