Pharma group to lobby against ‘biosimilar’ medicine legislation

The pharmaceutical sector will lobby political parties to scupper proposed legislation aimed at encouraging doctors to use cheaper medicines.

In correspondence to its members, the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA) said it would rebut the legislation through various channels, but principally by way of direct communication to political parties.
