The investment fund that manages money for over 18,000 wards of court and minors surged in value by almost 14 per cent last year.

The total value of the fund hit €1.47 billion, up from €1.29 billion, the Courts Service annual report reveals. The jump in the fund’s value was helped by higher investment returns and lower disbursements of cash over the 12 months.
