The transfer of tasks from doctors to nurses has yet to be fully implemented, some 18 months after it was announced, the Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) has claimed.

Nurses promised to carry out basic tasks typically done by doctors in return for the reinstatement of a previous allowance they received for working between the hours of 6-8pm.
