The regulatory body for nurses and midwives in Ireland was hit with €17,000 in penalties from the taxman in 2015, its newly filed accounts show.

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) was found to have breached public procurement guidelines in the same year in respect of almost €1 million of contracts.
