New children’s hospital to cost another €299m
The total cost of the project has been estimated at €1.07 billion
The Department of Health needs another €299 million from the government to complete the National Children’s Hospital project.
In its submission to the government’s mid-term capital review, it said it had been allocated €574 million to pay for the hospital.
The total cost of the project - including satellite centres - has been estimated at €1.07 billion, a sum which has already been approved by the government.
