Membership income falls at doctors’ union

Fees fall from €2.75m in 2014 to €2.42m in 2015

Ireland’s biggest doctors’ union, the Irish Medical Organisation (IMO), has seen its membership income drop.

Membership fees fell to €2.42 million in 2015, from €2.75 million in 2014, according to the latest annual accounts.

The IMO claimed 4,900 members at the end of 2015, down from 6,000 in 2012.
