Main British abortion service to advise here if Eighth is repealed

Britain’s leading provider of abortions has said it is willing to help with establishing abortion services in Ireland if the Eighth Amendment is repealed.

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (Bpas) said it is ready to share its expertise and protocols for “a safe, woman-centred abortion service” if the Eighth is repealed. “We will help in any way we are asked to,” its director of external affairs Clare Murphy said.
