Life or Death: Can the health service put a price on your life?

The ethical dilemmas created by high drug pricing are not going anywhere.

Picture this. You have a terminal disease and a new €80,000 drug is launched that can cure you. The health service should fund it immediately, right? What should happen if that drug costs €400,000 and gives you an extra year of life?
