The European partnership that aims to jointly negotiate pharmaceutical deals has reached its first collective pricing agreement.

The drug which the partnership agreed to fund is called Spinraza, which is used to treat Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Spinraza is already being funded by the HSE in Ireland.

Ireland joined the partnership, called BeNeLuxA (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria) in June.
