Hundreds refuse medical exams of their personal injuries claims

Almost 800 people have refused to turn up for an independent medical assessment of their personal injuries claim in the past three years.

The fear is that these claimants are intent on avoiding the state’s injuries board and want to go to court immediately to secure a higher compensation pay-out.
