HSE brings in more staff to deal with delivery woes

The HSE did not reveal how long people had been left waiting for the delivery of their incontinence pads

The HSE has been forced to bring in 18 administrative staff to deal with the distressing delays in delivering incontinence pads to people with disabilities.

The pads are supplied and delivered free of charge to the homes of 64,000 people on medical cards who need them to be able to function normally.

But they have experienced distress and embarrassment due to the delays in deliveries in the programme which are being carried out on the HSE’s behalf...
