A heart patient who was refused an insurance payment under a serious illness policy has had a legal challenge dismissed by the Court of Appeal.

In 2010, Zurich Life rejected an insurance claim by Florence Crowley on the basis that he had received treatment to correct narrowing of one coronary artery and not two or more, as required by the policy.
