The Oireachtas Committee on the Future of Healthcare has publishedSláintecare, its proposals for health policy in Ireland over the next 10 years. Thecross-party committee is recommending a universal healthcare system where everyone has access to services based on need and not ability to pay with the bulk of care provided in primary and community settings.
