GPs could curtail their out-of-hours service after members of the National Association of General Practitioners (NAGP) voted overwhelmingly in favour of the first of three ballots last week.

The question put to NAGP members was whether the doctors’ union should recommend that GPs revise their existing participation in out of hours services.
