Governance review of Nursing and Midwifery Board

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) is to undergo a four-month review of its governance structures.

Consulting firm Crowe Horwath has been commissioned by the nursing regulator to conduct an “independent business review”.

Documents seen by this newspaper state that the review will look at the agency’s internal structures, including its financial structures.
