German investor confidence rebounded in August

German investor confidence rebounded in August after the initial shock ofBritain’s decision to leave the European Union.

The ZEW Center for European Economic Research in Mannheim said its index of investor and analyst expectations, which aims to predict economic developments six months ahead, rose to 0.5 from minus 6.8 in July. Economists in a Bloomberg survey predicted an increase to two.
